Coastal Theory

This Aptos bathroom renovation blends transitional design with the relaxed, natural beauty of coastal California. Inspired by the surrounding coastline and redwoods, the goal was to create a space that feels fresh, elevated, and inviting while balancing classic elements with unexpected details.

A light oak vanity, richly varied green marble penny tile, blue-green porcelain hexagon flooring, and softly textured, handmade-look white tile create a layered mix of color and texture. Black accents and brushed nickel fixtures add contrast, while heated floors bring an extra touch of everyday comfort. The result is a bathroom that feels refined yet relaxed, with a distinctly Northern California sensibility.
